A rare exhibition on China’s Emperor Qianlong (1711-1799)
is going on display at the Acropolis Museum
with a first time presentation to the public
of remarkable artifacts representing over
100 years of Chinese culture of the 18th century.
From – September 14, 2018 to February 14, 2019
the Acropolis Museum will show 162 objects
from the Palace Museum in the Forbidden City,
arranged in five rooms that represent five aspects
of the life of the Manchu emperor Qianlong,
who lived from 1711 to 1799.
